MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of Loretta's Helping Hands is to provide short term emergency shelter (up to 30 days) and long term (6-24 months) for women and children who are in crisis, including those who are homeless. We are advocates, grounded in fostering a community of safety, healing, and empowerment for any woman who may be in crisis.I will be dedicating my time to improving our neighborhood until my home is available to ensure that our community members  can live comfortably without the need for assisted living home

WHAT WE PROVIDE

Financial Literacy: Budgeting, Opening and maintaining savings and checking accounts.

Nutrition/Cooking Classes; Basic cooking skills for those who don't have them, meal planning, how and where to shop, gardening.

Connection to social services for: Housing, counseling/therapy sessions, health care (personal care physician, appointments, dental, and vision.

Fieldtrip's; Places of interest, sporting events, and community events.
